What's
New in 2019 for the Ford Escape?
2019 added
some sharp additions to the Ford Escape, including new fabric, remote start,
and one-touch up/down power windows on the SEL trim. Further, Intelligent
Access with push-button start is now standard on the SE and SEL trims.
Performance Features
There are
three bold engine options including the 2.5-liter I-4, 1.5-liter EcoBoost®
engine, and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® with Twin-Scroll technology. The 2.0-liter
EcoBoost® has the most available power, with 3,500-pound towing capacity, 245
horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Start/Stop technology and available
intelligent 4WD that monitors traction and road conditions also contribute to
the legendary performance of the 2019 Ford Escape.
When it
comes to handling, AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ uses two
gyroscopic sensors that help monitor roll rates, allowing you to maintain
control in various road conditions for optimal performance. Curve Control and
Torque Vectoring Control further enhance the traction of your Ford Escape by
transferring power to the wheels with the most grip, thus leading to tighter
control.
